MODEL YACHTING
The sixth heats of the club race were sailed by the Christchurch Model Yacht Club during the week-end. There was a south-west wind. Results were:— First Heat.—B. George’s Newlyn 1, W. B. Schenkel’s Alone 2, F. Grey’s Faith 3, R. Evans's Hope 4, R. Hilton's Phantom 5. Second Heat.—Alone 1, Newlyn 2, Maple 3, Hope 4, F. Jago's Moana 5. Points gained were: Alone 13, Newlyn 13, Hope 4, Maple 3, Faith 3. The sixth heat of the Points Trophy race was sailed in a north-easterly wind and resulted as follows:
Maple 1, Hope 2, Newlyn 3, F. Grey’s Vai 4, E. Jackson’s Thelma 5.
