President Truman said today that he did not think there would be another world war if the SbviSt UniOil treated its neighbours as. the United States acted towards Canada and Latin Ameriea. s The President was welcoming a 70ffiember delegation from 34 countries concerned with the Point Four programme. He described the Communist’ move* ment aS “the greatest force for evil there has ever beefl in existence.” “There isn’t any difference between the manner- ih Which the totalitarian so-called Communist States threaten their inhabitants and the way iii Which Hitler treated his people,” he said. .
“They are exactly parallel jfi the way they manage things, orily they call them by different names.”
