LONDON. August 29 The Indian cricket team failed by six runs to beat Kent, at Canterbury, to-dav. after being set to score 51 runs In 20 minutes to win. The match was drawn. When play began to-day, Kent, with eight wickets in hand, wanted 126 to avert an Innings defeat. Stubborn play and Colin Cowdrey’s fine 101 saved the team. An Oxford Blue.
