PASTEURISED MILK
Sir, —“Democracy” writes: “Let everyone who values the health of himself and his family put* out a note for the milkman ‘Raw milk or none please.’” This is not good advice, as under bulk collection raw milk can only be an imitation as compared with fresh milk supplied and service given before the milk monopoly gained control. It would be far better to say “None at all, thank you,” and for the time being manage as well as possiblfe with the powdered milk. Steps have been taken to arrange for a competent speaker on fresh milk. Further steps are being taken covering the wider aspect, including political implications. This latter arrangement will be put ih hand as soon as possible, and the public notified.— Yours, etc., H. BLISS. August 30, 1952.
