ENEMY-CONTROLLED PRISON CAMPS

TOKYO, August 15. Communists fighting in Korea advised the United Nations to-day that they had established one new prisoner-of-war camjf, expanded two more, and moved two others to different locations.

The information was in a letter from the North Korean chief Communist truce delegate (General Nam II) to Major-General William Harrison, the senior Allied delegate. The letter was delivered at a brief meeting between liaison officers at Panmunjon. The Communist liaison officers also handed over maps showing the location of the new and transplanted camps. General Harrison had pressed the Communists several times for the location of various camps to prevent any accidental bombing of stockades by Allied aircraft.
