FINAL ROUND PLAYED The final! round of matches in the senior grade of the Canterbury Basketball Association's competitions was played on Saturday. The following are the positions of the teams: Technical 20, Digby's 20, Sacred Heart 17, Mataura 14, West Old Girls 9, Training College 4, Canberra 0. Results:— Senior grade: Digby’s 38, Sacred Heart 26; Training College 19, West Old Girls 15; Mataura 46, Canberra 12. Second grade: Otago 17, Canterbury 12. Third grade: Playoff: Para 13, Hagley 9. Final: Dressy Frocks 24, Para 18. Fourth A grade: Girls’ Training Centre 17, Argyle Textiles 11. Fourth grade B: Play-off: Ernest Adams 21. Carmas 5. Final: Ernest Adams 14, Halswell 13. The Beau Ideal Cup, for the beat basketball goal average, was won by Digby% with an average of 27.3. Sacred Heart was runner-up, with 28.6. In the junior section Kakatai C won with an average of 23.4, and South Brighton waa second jWith 20.4,
