Request for Power Savings.—The Town Clerk of Lyttelton (Mr J. Thompson) has requested an users of electricity in Lyttelton to co-operate with the Municipal Electricity Department so that consumption may be brought within the quota. To do this, said Mr Thompson, a 20 per cent, reduction on present consumption would be required. Voluntary savings would enable black-outs to be dispensed with.
