INDUCTION COURSE HELD LECTURES”BY SENIOR OFFICERS To give cadets a better understanding of the wider aspects of the Public Service and its traditions, an induction course for 60 cadets who were apCointed to the service this year is now eing held in Christchurch. The first course was held last week, and the second will conclude on Friday. Cadets came from 23 Government departments.

Two instructional films have been shown, and most of the cadets have given short talks on their own jobs or the work of the departments to which they are attached.
