TAPESTRY CHAIRS

Sir, —It is a pity that “Amused Worker” found it necessary to criticise the Greymouth ladies over the time taken to do their chair. A word of encouragement would have been more suitable. Bragging about what one does is typical of certain members of some of our sex. Perhaps if the Greymouth ladies neglect their other duties they, too, could give more time to tapestry work.—Yours, etc., , , DISGUSTED. July 29, 1952.
