NEIL CUP COMPETITION AT OAMARU

(New Zealand Press Association) OAMARU, June 1. In the first of a series of three badminton matches in Oamaru during the week-end in the interprovincial Neil Cup competition, Southland beat North Otago 12 matches to 4. The North Otago women’s team played well, winning three of the four . singles matches and one doubles match, but with the exception of three matches. Southland won in straight set*.
