FOUR PERSONS INJURED

CARS IN HEAD-ON COLLISION

NAPIER, May 30. Four men, two of them police constables, were admitted to the Napier Hospital this evening after a head-on collision between two cars on the Napier-Taupo road, 10 miles from Napier. They are:— Constable Lewis Dolman, aged 26, of Brewster street, Napier, injuries to the right leg, right arm, and face, concussion and shock.

Constable Ivan Vincent Jones, aged 37, of Nuffield avenue, Napier, facial injuries and shock. Alan McKenzie, aged 44, of Dalton street, Napier, facial injuries and shock.

Geoffrey Entrican, aged 37, of Remuera street, Auckland, facial injuries. Both cars were extensively damaged The accident occurred at 7.45 p.m. at the junction of the Taupo and Wairoa roads.
