MODEL YACHTING

The second heat of the eighteenth club race of the Christchurch Model Yacht Club was sailed in a light northerly wind during the week-end, under the supervision of Mr J. Matthews. Results were: First Heat.—Whitewings (B. George) 1, Minka (C. Musclow) 2, Alone (W. Schenkel) 3. Scotty (D. Fleming) 4. Second Heat.—Hope (R. Evans) 1, Scotty 2. Alone 3, Minka 4. Points gained were: Whitewings and Hope 8. Scotty and Minka 7, Alone 6. The thirty-fifth heat of the points trophy race was sailed in a light northerly wind. Results were:— Tempest (B. Wall) 1, Whitewings 2, Hope 3, Alone 4. Minka 5.
