INTOXICATED MOTORIST FINED
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH, May 9. Gordon Otto Wilson, aged 43, of Timaru, pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court at Greymouth today, to a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a motor vehicle. He was convicted and fined £lO and his licence was cancelled for a year. Evidence was given that accused, who was driving a rental car, almost collided with a traffic officer’s car and another truck on a straight road just outside Greymouth. Messrs R. J. Truman and W. S. McClymont, Justices of the Peace, were on the Bench.
