DEATH OF PROFESSOR SUTHERLAND

MAORI CLUB EXPRESSES SYMPATHY (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON. March 4. A tribute to the memory of Professor I. L. G. Sutherland was paid at a meeting of the Ngati Poneke Young Maori Club in Wellington. Mr F. B. Katene said that Dr. Sutherland had long been a friend of the Maori people, and they joined with his relatives in sharing his loss'. Those present stood in silence to carry a resolution of sympathy.
