MR HOLLAND ON WAY HOME

ARRIVAL IN N.Z. ON SUNDAY

NEW YORK, Feb. 20. The New Zealand Prime Minister (Mi Holland) left New York to-day, homeward bound after his four-day visit He is scheduled to leave ban Francisco on Friday and arrive in Auckland on Sunday afternoon. One of the many private engagements Mr Holland had in New York was a meeting with the State Department consultant, Mr John Foster Dulles. It is understood that they discussed the recognition of China again, and aspects of the security pact between the United States, New Zealand and Australia. .... . The Prime Minister had several meetings with the new New Zealand Ambassador to the United States (Mr L. K. Munro) and the Dominions High Commissioner in Canada (Mr• T. C. A. Hislop) who came from Ottawa to confer with Mr Holland. Other conferences were with representatives of the National Association of Manufacturers and various commercial institutions. Mr Holland, through a spokesman, said that he would not make any announcement here about the subjects of his talks, preferring to make a full report when he returned to New Zealand It is learned that the Murupara newsprint project was among the subjects, but nothing is known of any I decisions.
