Campers still used Spencer Park, Broad Park, and the Brooklands Domain, but no campers were noticed on the roadsides, stated a report by the county inspector (Mr R. H. Gee) received at a meeting of the Waimairi County Council last evening. “It appears that, contrary to the council s request, the Spencer Park Board has allowed campers into the domain, stated the report A recommendation by the inspector, that the Government should be asked to insist on better standards for camping grounds, was adopted by the council.
