TOURNAMENT WINNERS RECEIVE TROPHIES The president of the Canterbury Croquet Association (Mrs G. W. Smithson) presented the following prizes and trophies to the winners of sections in the provincial title tournament yesterday:— Men’s championship: J. Mickelson; run-ner-up, H. Williams. Intermediate championship: Mrs Ogier; runner-up, Mrs Flintoff. Handicap singles (E. J. Ross Memorial Trophy): Mrs Martin; runner-up, Mrs Phillips. Handicap doubles: Mrs Henry and Miss Gray; runner-up, Mesdames Beale and Sharp. JUNIOR TOURNAMENT The following were the results of yesterday’s matches in the Canterbury junior croquet tournament:— A Championship.—First life: Mrs Murray Jones 26, Mrs Burnip 13; Mrs Moore 26, Mrs Carter 22; Mrs Lagan 26, Mrs Robson 18.
