WEST COAST The following is the forecast for the West Coast of the South Island:— Moderate westerly winds, tending northerly; weather dull and mild, with rain at times. Outlook for Sunday: rain. CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER The weather In Christchurch yesterday was fihe but overcast. There was a light north-east wind. The maximum temperature was 89.1 degrees. At midnight, the sky was overcast, and a i'ght north-Mrth-east wind was blowing. The temperature was 62.8 degrees, and the barometer, at 29.81 inches (1002.9 millibars), was falling unsteadily.
