n.z. Refrigerating COMPANY "The accounts of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Ltd., which will be issued to shareholders next week, show a loss for the year,” says a statement from the firm. "The directors recommend the payment of a dividend of 5 per cent, out of the balance brought forward from the previous year." • Last year a dividend of 7) per cent., together with a centennial bonus of 21 per cent., was paid. The sum of £52,358 was carried forward and £70,000 added to the general reserve, bringing it to £240,000. Huddart Parker.—The directors of Huddart Parker, Ltd., have recommended final dividends oh preference shares of 3 per cent., making 6 per cent, for the year, and on ordinary shares of 7 per cent., making 12 per cent, for the year (unchanged).
