RATA STREET WATER LOAN, 1950. ~ NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a special Meeting of the Rangiora Borough Council, held on Monday, the 19th day of November, 1951, the following Resolution to take effect as a Special Order was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, the 19th day of December, 1951, in the Council Chambers. Percival street, Rangiora:?— RESOLUTION v , IN PURSUANCE AND EXERCISE ci the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1933 and its Amendments and by the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and in particular by Sections 17 thereof and of all other powers thereunto it enabling AND with the consent of the Ratepayers of the Special Rating Area in the Rangiora Borough hereinafter described; testified by a Petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the Ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the* Capital Values of whose properties. as appearing in the valuation roll of the said Borough is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent AND with the previous consent of the Governor-General in Council as required by the Local Government Loans Board Act. 1926 (N.Z. Gazette No. 8. 15th Febp2.ge 173) - THE rangiora COUNCIL hereby rekrvsVES ’ by Way ° f Special Or der. as fol- -- J?-« raise a Special Loan of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS for the purpose of extending the Water supply to a new subdivision in Rata street and Elizabeth street within the Rangiora Borough. 2. That the said Loan be known as "Rata Street Water Loan. 1950.” 3. THAT the term or currency of the said Loan shall be for a period of fifteen years at an interest rate not exceeding THREE POUNDS FIVE SHILLINGS (£3 ss) per centum per annum. 4. THAT the said Loan or any part thereof together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the term of the Loan, namely fifteen years. 5. THAT the payment of such instalments shall be made in New Zealand and no such instalment shall be paid out of loan moneys. 6. THAT the rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said re- ! or my parts hereof shal! not in the aggregate exceed one--7 tui ?^ of any amount raised. 7.
