A -six-roomed house and nine acres of land at Woodend was sold at auction in Rangiora yesterday for £1390. Bidding for the propertv, which was offered on account of Mr G. F. Wilson. opened at £lOOO and rose by bids of £lOO to £l3OO. Two bids of £2O and five of £lO brought the price to the final figure which was paid by Mr |A. D. Petrie.
