ANNUAL CONFERENCE NEXT MONTH TTie thirty-seventh annual z-onference of the Methodist Women's Missionary itnion will be held at Durham street Methodist Church, Christchurch, from October 9 to October 12. One hundred and twenty delegates are expected from ell parts of the Dominion. A welcome social wi’l be given on Tuesday evening, October 9. and a mi'sionarv rptlv will be h<*ld on the followin' Thursday. Sneakers will b" Sister Fva Saund°rs. who is on furlough *rom the Solomon Island Mission. Sister Jean Miller, of the Auckland Maori Mission, the Rev. A. H. Serivin. superintendent of ‘he Methodist Overseas Mission, and the Rev. G. J. Lanrenson. superintendent of the M”ori Mission. For Hie last two years the Dominion executive has been do'ni-'led in Christchurch with Mr fraUqrn as president. Mrs W. F. Featherston, secretary "nd Mrs D. tr c ‘ag’*rer. The North Canterbury District of the union is responsible for all local arrangements.
