BY 'nu}y’T- I lx^io (NO ’ 11 IN RESPECT OF BUILDINGS AND ROADS AND FOOTPATH OPENINGS. | P a U P L A C NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Waimairi County Council at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose and held in the Council Chambers, Papanui, on the 23rd August, 1951, RESOLVED by way of Special Resolution to make a By-law, the short title of which is “The Waimairi County By-law, 1951 (No 1) ” the object and purport of such By-law being as follows: — 1. To adopt Parts Ito X inclusive of the New Zealand Standard Code cf Building By-laws (N.Z.S.S. 95) ,-.s amended by Supplement No. 1 to the said New Zealand Standard Code of Building By-laws relating to:— Parts I-IV—Preliminary, Offences, Permits and Basic Requirements for Building Construction. Parts V-Vl—Reinformed and Plain Concrete Construction and Panel Walls in Framed Structures. Parts vn-IX—Means of Egress. Residential Buildings, and Light Timber Construction. Part X—Masonry Buildings of Bearing. Wall Construction. 2. To repeal the Waimairi County Bylaw, 1948 (No 1) and the Waimairi County By-law, 1949 (No. 1). 3. To amend Clause 31 of the Waimairi County By-law, 1934, in respect of charges for Road and Footpath openings by substituting therefor a new scale of charges.
FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN that the said Resolution will be submitted to sn Ordinary Meeting of the Waimairi County Council to be held in the Council Chambers, Papanui. on Thursday, October 18, 1951, for confirmation as a Special Order. Copy of the said By-law may be inspected without fee during office hours at the County Office, Papanui, and at the City Receiving Office, 152 Hereford street.
