COMMUNISTS IN INDIA
(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) NEW DELHI, September 17. The Home Minister. (Mr C. Rajagopalachari) said to-day that the indian Communist Party had made no declaration dissociating itsalf irom violence and sabotage. The Minister added that crimes of violence, “presumably under Communist inspiration,” were continuing. He gave figures to show that in the month ended September 11, 10 murders, 19 cases of arson, nine attacks on Government buildings, 19 cases of looting, and 10 assaults took place la “affected areas."
