REINFORCEMENTS FOR K FORCE

ABOUT 120 MEN TO GO INTO CAMP (New Zealand Press Association)

WELLINGTON, September 17. ! About 120 more men for K Force, selected from volunteers who did not gain inclusion in earlier drafts, will go into the district training camps at Papakura, Linton and Burnham on September 27. They will make up K Force's third reinforcement.

Announcing this to-day the Minister of Defence (Mr T. L. Macdonald) said the reinforcement would probably train in New Zealand for about 12 weeks. The men would have their embarkation leave over Christmas, and would leave for Korea early in January.
