On a flve-day leave she allowed the Polytechnic Touring Association to show her how much of i the Continent could be seen in a relatively short period. Miss Fawsitt spent some time at the London headquarters of the corporation, where she was stationed for about a year before going to Sydney. Miss Fawsitt, whose home town is Plymouth, has been associated with aviation for about 16 years—practically ever since she left school. Before joining the British Overseas Airways Corporation she was for nearly 12 years with Airspeed. Ltd., aircraft constructors, of Portsmouth. In W e c P“ rse of her present duties Miss Fawsitt has visited New Zealand ■ three times, and she periodically visits the capital cities on the east coast of i Australia.
