Wellington, and dealing with the 37 hours after the time of issue, is:— Situation: a ridge of Meh pressure is across New Zealand, and a series of low-pressore troughs is passtag to the south. Forecast: light to moderate variable winds; weather mainly fair, with moderate temperatures. Outlook: mainly fair.
WEST COAST The forecast for the West Coast of the South Island is:— Cloudy; scattered rain.
CHRISTCHURCH WEATHER
The day in Christchurch yesterday was fine, with a light north-west wind in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 64.3 degrees. At midnight the sky was overcast, and there was no wind.
