Sir, —The Labour supporters are taking their defeat very badly. “G.W.” talks of snobbery and sweet smells, which is too silly for words. The young people heard both sides, used their common sense, and voted for Mr Holland.—Yours, etc., AND SO DID I. Ashburton, September 8, 1951.
