FOUR HORSES COMPLETE DOUBLES

Vitalogy and Fiddlesticks, both trained at Rlccarton by R. Wilson, completed doubles for the Westport Jockey Club's meeting when they won on the second day yesterday in fine weather. They were both winners on Saturday. The pacers, Molly Grattan and Tilly Girl, both winners on the first day, also won again yesterday. Molly Grattan paid £3O 13s for a win when she won the Walmangaroa Handicap Trot on Saturday, and she was again lightly supported yesterday, paying £l5 12s 6d on the win machine. Her winning performance from 60 yards was a feature of the day's racing. There was a fair attendance, and the totalisator handled £19,521 10s, compared with £20.706 10s on the second day last year. The total for the meeting was £38.533. compared with £37.428. The double was on the Morley and Radford Handicaps, and the successful combination, Nutcracker and Wealthy, paid £49 4s for £l.
