RAILWAY CLUB’S HALL AT KAIKOURA
The Railway Social Clubs hall at Kaikoura, the construction and furnishing of which had been carried out voluntarily during the last two years by members of the club, drawn from all sections of the Radways ment, was opened at a function on Saturday evening by Mr W. A. Breach, district traffic manager, Christchurch. More than 120 persons were present at th Tbe er haS n which was previously a Ministry of Works hall, was moved to its present site , near the Kaikoura County Council’s electric power station, in 1940.
