Keith won practical every round up to the tenth, when Clark* signalled that he had had enough. Keith, at 19 years of age, is five yMn younger than the Aucklander, who has *a advantage in height and reach. Ken practically won the fight in the first rouM. when he launched a venomous two-fieta attack to the head and body. A left hoik opened a gash beside Clarke's note. It bled freely throughout the fight. CUrta has a reputation for being a hard hitter, but he gave no evidence of this to-nigkt Keith was so fast that he made Clarke look lethargic.
AMATEUR TOURNAMENT AT KAIKOURA
Boxers from Nelson, Blenheim, and Kaikoura took part in an amateur tournament which was staged by the Kaikoura Snorts Club in the Drill Han on Saturday evening. The programme comprised U bouts, including two exhibitions. The referees were Messrs J. Burns, A McArtney. and C. Blumsky. of tfelsen. and the judges Messrs A. Moyes and E. Llanfear, of Kaikoura.
