WAIHORA GUN CLUB WINS MATCH
The Waihora Gun Club won a shoot against the North Canterbury Club by 196 breaks to 190 in a match shot on the Waihora Club's ground. The following are the results:—

Rowsell 14, R. T. Whitham 12, L. Kerr 14, I. G. Watkins 13, S. Henderson 13, F. Radford 13, C. Schaffer 13. An optional sweep held in conjunction with the match was divided by C. D. Bailey, A. B. Greenaway, W. Tyson, and H. Hatchard, who scored possibles. A five-target sweep with 37 entries was divided by F. Gray, F. Radford, P. Giles, W. Chalmers, A. B. Greenaway, G. Croft, W. Dean, L. Bennett, H. Hatchard, E. Hammond, and G. Bennett, with the possible. The final sweep of 10 clay targets resulted in A. B. Greenaway, R. T. Whitham, and G. H. Rowsell scoring the possible, followed by G. Vallance, L. Eden, C. D. Bailey, I. G. Watkins, L. Blatchford, and j. Everett, who scored nine breaks.
