CRICKET
ALTERATION IN PLUNKET SHIELD FIXTURE (New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 24. The Wellington-Central Districts Plunket Shield cricket match, previously allocated to Nelson, will be played in Wellington at Christmas. Announcing this to-day, the chairman of the Wellington Cricket Council (Mr H. E. Moore), said Central Districts had taken the view that the best interests of cricket would be served if the match were played in Wellington.
