DAM BURSTS NEAR MEXICAN TOWN

(Rec. 11.30 p.m.) MEXICO CITY, August 23. Thirty-seven persons are believed to have lost their lives yesterday when a dam at Cardenas broke, and a wall of water swept through the town Last n.ght searchers had recovered 23 bodies. Fourteen others, mostly children, are missing and are feared to be dead. The water overwhelmed people In the streets and swept into their homes.
