RICCARTON SEAT mre. p, wills selected Mr B F. Wilk aged «, a barrister and solicitor, w« ■elected lust evening to contest the Riccartpn Mat for the Nationfl Party. Mr Wills was chosen by the electorate committee of the party from four nominees. The seat is held for labour by Mr A. Metagan, whose majority at the election in 1949 was 2707. Mr Wills, who has not previously stood for Parliament, hat been a member of the executive of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce for the last two years, lives in the Pendalton electorate, but formerly lived in Riccarton. He is married and has five children.
