ROYAL FAMILY ON HOLIDAY
DEPARTURE FOR BALMORAL
LONDON, August 2. The King and Queen, with Prince Charles and Princess Anne, left London to-night in the Royal train for Balmoral, where they are to spend a summer holiday. , Prince Charles, wear mg a lemoncoloured knickerbocker suit, waved animatedly to the crowd. Then, holding the hand of his nurse, he walked along the platform and chatted.- excitedly with senior railway officials near the engine. , „ . Both Prince Charles and Princess Anne have had special cots built into the normal sleeping compartment of the coach and their names written on cards on the doors of their compartments. While the Queen was talking on the platform, Prince Charles tapped on the window of his coach until she saw him, and then ran to the doorway to welcome his grandmother. The Queen held the Prince in her arms at the window to wave good-bye as the Royal train drew out from the station.
