WELL-KNOWN PROPERTY AT CHEVIOT The well-known farm, ‘•Willowbank,’’ of 330 acres, two and a half miles fr om Cheviot, was sold for £14,000 to Mr James Stevenson, of Amberley, at public auction yesterday. The property, which is on a lease in perpetuity, was sold on account of Mr W. A. Elliott. There was a large attendance of bums and interested persons, and the bidding opened at £9OOO rising rapidly to £14,000.
