R.S.A. REUNION AT AKAROA
About 100 former servicemen attended the annual reunion of the Banks Peninsula branch of the Returned Services’ Association in Akaroa. The Akaroa Silver Band played several items, and Sergeant F. Kirke led community singing. Mr J. J. Marlow presided. Among those present were Mr H. E. Batchelor, a member of the Dominion executive of the R.S.A., Mr R. Bruce, Mayor of Akaroa, and Mr T. W. weir, chairman of the Akaroa County Council.
