RESOLVED That in pursuance of the powers contained in Section 152 of the Counties Act, 1920, and all other enabling powers vested in it, the Selwyn County Council acting on behalf of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Selwyn, HEREBY RESOLVES by way of Special Order that this Council authorises the sale or exchange in one or more lots FIRSTLY of all that piece of land containing TWO ACRES (2 ac.) or thereabouts situated in Block V of the Fighting Hill Survey District, being part of Reserve 1830 and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title Volume 536 Folio 63 (Canterbury Registry), and SECONDLY, of all that piece of land containing TWO ACRES TEN PtoCHES AND EIGHT-TENTHS OF A PERCH (2 ac. 10.8 per.) or thereabouts, situated in Block IV of the Fighting Hill Survey District, being part of Reserve 1830 and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title Volume 536 Folio 64 (Canterbury Registry), AS in the opinion of the said Council the said land is no longer required for the purposes of the said County, DATED at Hororata this 14th day of May, 1951.
