Savage Club.— The Christchurch Savage Club held its first korero of the 1951 season on Saturday evening Great Chief H. Blazey was installed by Past Chief R. A. Young. Items were given by the club orchestra conducted by Past Chief L. Barnes, songs by Savages A. Coombe and V. H. Reid, a violin solo by Savage J. Wagner, and humorous sketches by Savages S. McKnight, R. Nicholls. C. Williams, N. Hookham. and C. Luney.
