LOADING OUT OF MEAT
KAIAPOI WORKERS TO MEET LATER Freezing workers at the Kaiapoi works of the North Canterbury Sheepfarmers' Co-operative Freezing Company, Ltd., will not hold a meeting to discuss their attitude to the handling of meat for export until they know when they will be called on to load out export goods. Workers at the Belfast works of Thomas Borthwick and Sons, Ltd., have decided not to load out meat or any material for export which would be handled by servicemen, and men at the Canterburv Frozen Meat Company’s works have decided to carry on normal work.
