ARAB AND ASIAN U.N. GROUP
_ . NEW YORK, April IS. The Asian and Arab group of the United Nations, with the exception of the Philippines, met to-day to consider further efforts to secure a peaceful settlement of the Korean war.
The delegates met at the residence of Sir Senegal Rau, India’s delegate to the United Nations. They decided that the situation was too fluid at present for them to decide on any definite plan of action. They agreed to await General MacArthur’s expected announcement of his views when he returns to the United States, before continuing their discussions.
