NINE CARS BURNED IN FIRE

HUNTERVILLE GARAGE DESTROYED

(New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, April 14. Nine cars were burned in a fire which destroyed the garage of Hunter, ville Motors, Ltd., at HunterviUe last night. Machinery and other accessories were lost and the owner, Mr C P. von Hartitzsch, is a heavy loser. The HunterviUe Fire Brigade found the fire beyond its compass, but with the Marton Fire Brigade, was able to prevent the spread of the fire to other premises. Some of the garage machinery was and still in packing cases in the building. Only one of 10 cars in the garage was saved.
