WOOL DISPOSALS PROFITS
NEW ZEALAND’S BALANCE £8,952,221 (N.Z. Press Attociation—Copgrignt) LONDON, April 11. United Kingdom Dominion Wool Disposals made a profit of. £4,031,663 in the year ended June 30, 1960, bringing the profits for the first five years' working to £125,7*0,364. There is also £27,830,159 of war-time profits, making the profit to date £153,571,023, of which half belongs to the British Government and half to the wool-producing Dominions. As a start in the distribution of profits, £50,000,000 has been paid 0ut—£25,000.000 to Britain, £2,000,000 to Australia, and £5,000,000 to New Zealand, leaving in hand on June 30 £103,571,023 of profits, of which £35,095,554 belongs to Australia, £8.052,221 to New Zealand? £7,737.736 to South Africa, and £51,785,512 to Britain.
