ACCIDENTS
CYCLIST DIES AFTER COLLISION (New Zealand Press Association) WANGANUI, March 29. After a collision bet .veen two cyclists in Gonville last evening, a man was admitted to the Wangant i Hospital, where he died early this morning. He was: Raymond Aitchison, aged 49, a meat inspector, of 19 Gonville avenue. Mr Aitchison went home after the collision, but collapsed. He was then taken to the hospital, where an operation was performed. j. CYCLIST INJURED . %' ■' Z jfr When the bicycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a car at the corner of Barbadoes and". Lichfield streets early last evening, an elderly man, Mr H. H. McGill, of 220 Lichfield street, suffered head injuries. He was admitted to the Christchurch Public Hospital at 6.40 p.m. His .condition was later reported to be satisfactory.
