RESULT OF NIGHT TRIAL Only eight of the starters completed the course in the 105-mile night trial held by the Canterbury Car Club on Saturday. The course from Waipara and return hv way of the Mount Grey district was extremely difficult. Results:— H. L. Wheeler (M.G. T. 8.). 82 noinflost. 1; G. W. Drayton (Vauxhall 14), 89 points lost. 2: D. Drewery (Dodge), 135 points lost, 3; C. Rudd (Morris 12). 137 points lost 4; R. Pannell (Ford Prefect), 201 points lost. 5; J. Rush worth (Hillman Minx), 205 points lost, 6; R. Geal (De Soto). 213 points lost. 7; A. Sparrow (Singer Le Mans), 265 points lost, 8.
