Grandfather’s Parchase In the early days of Christchurch his erandfather had bought for £9 a section in central Christchurch on which the Post Office and the United Service Hotel now stand, Mr F. L. A. Gotz, MJ?, for Otahuhu, told a meeting at Sumner last evening, but because he was fearful that prices might fall his grandfather had sold the section the next day for £ll.
