ROBERT PARKER PRIZE IN MUSIC

DUNEDIN, January 23. The Music Teachers’ Registration Board announced to-day that the Robert Parker Memorial Prize in music had been awarded to A. F. McDermott, aged 20, of Dunedin. The award, which is worth £l5 a year, was established by the first president of the Music Teachers’ Association, Mr Robert Parker, who was for many' years organist at the Pro-Cathe-dral, Wellington.
