NEW AIR FREIGHT SERVICE
WEEKLY FLIGHTS BEGIN

The service is to be flown every week. It is being run in conjunction with a Christchurch carrying firm. Goods for the North Island will be accepted up to Thursday evenings of each week, and the aircraft will leave each Friday morning. The flying time between the two islands is CO minutes. The service was reopened because passenger airliners could not cope with the amount of freight now being flown between the two islands.
Almost any type of freight is being accepted provided it is small enough to get Into the aircraft
