J.O. STOCKS FOR NOVEMBER

United Kingdom-Wool Disposals have stated that offerings from Joint Organisation's stocks at the London wool sales commencing November 20 will total 52.000 bales. New' Zealand’s share amounts- to 13,300 bales, including 7500 bales of greasy medium crossbred combing, 3500 bales of slipe, and 1250 bales of greasy crossbred clothing stools. #
RUBBER SOARS. TIN EASIER (N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. Nov. 8. Rubber replaced tin as the star market performer to-day. On top of its previous sensational advances, it jumped by nearly 6d per lb—the biggest daily advancebringing the highest price since before the First World War.
Tin turned easier, but was still no less than £2OO a ton above the price last Friday, which w'as itself an all-time record. Tin was at £1295 a ton spot and £1272 10s forward.
